Everyday people are exposed to millions of advertisement without even realizing it. The mass media continues to use female bodies and sexually suggestive gestures to sell many products for example clothes, automobiles, alcohol, and is even seen in some public eating establishments. This tactic in advertising has become very common and has been socially acceptable in profit making. This aspect of mass media is subconsciously affecting the lives of women everyday.The negative exploitation of women in mass media misconstrues the value, self-esteem, and gender roles of women while simultaneously giving a subconscious sense of inferiority.
